In between the high-end clothing stores on High Street, you’ll find Shaka Bowl–A little Hawaiian-themed poke bowl eatery. The black and wood-decorated joint has stencilled walls and warm lighting, welcoming you the moment you step foot inside. The menu is kept simple: Tuna, Salmon, Trevally, or tofu. Regular size or large. Take your chance to add healthy toppings like their edamame beans, pineapple, and pomegranate to get things exactly to your liking.

Located in the Auckland Fish Market, you can guarantee Ika Bowl use the freshest seafood available. The Polynesian poke bar sources their fish from the Pacific Ocean, paired with local NZ produce to create fresh, vibrant bowls. Take your pick between proteins such as King salmon, tuna, poached chicken, tofu, or prawns, and add your favourite extras to create your perfect bowl. The hole in the wall counter sits in between Britomart Square and Britomart train station, perfect for grabbing lunch on the go.
