By Sophia Romanos
Breakfast on the go

A good on-the-go breakfast can be hard to find. As Aucklanders we tend to set our sights a bit higher than muesli bars and Belvita biscuits. Whether you’re dashing late to work or forgot your porridge in the microwave, you don’t have to starve until lunchtime. Auckland has you covered with pastries, acai bowls, and breakfast sammies galore-You just have to know where to go...

Fresh Croissants from Amano

Do breakfast the European way–A pastry in one hand and a coffee in the other. Amano is a beauty of an establishment for a sit-down meal, but if you’re in a hurry, grab some of their artisanal baking from the cabinet. Their French Viennoiserie range is available each morning-And it would be rude to not get a filled croissant. The pastries at Amano are infamous in Auckland, their delicate buttery and flaky texture are definitely something to rave about.
