Looking to escape the city for a little while? We've found the perfect opportunity to pack up and hit the coast for a weekend of sun, surf, and all-you-can-eat vegan goodness. Vegan Vibes is the Bay of Plenty's very first vegan-dedicated festival, showcasing all things vegan including food, body & leisure products, fashion, and footwear.
With the aim of equipping you with all the tools to live sustainably, the team behind the festival hope to gift you with the ethos of sustainability in your daily life. This years' Vegan Vibes will take place on Saturday 24th October at Soper Reserve in Mount Maunganui – perfect for a quick weekend roadie with friends.
Looking to connect Kiwis from across New Zealand, there'll be stalls from the likes of Hamilton's Snack Baby providing plant-based snacks, Real Rad Food with sweet treats, Honest Goods and their Ahi Cider Tonics with a number of health benefits, Langos Fried Bread Puffs with their range of vegan toppings, the famed Wise Boy Burgers, Hello Rosie's range of vegan junk food including their famous donuts, and Vege Bang Bang's lineup of fresh vegan dishes.
As well as stalls from up and down the country, there will also be live talks, performances, workshops, guest speakers, giveaways and exhibitions to keep you entertained the entire day. It'll be a full day of education, innovation, inspiration, and news experiences.
Don't fret if you're not a fully-fledged vegan, everyone is welcome – the point is to enjoy what veganism can be. Don't forget, fries are vegan!
