Easter is here! And just because we're in lockdown, doesn't mean there's any less reason to make do and celebrate at home – Starting with the cocktails. While chocolate is a main feature of the holiday, we're mixing it up for one final taste of summer with this sweet raspberry-honey iced tea cocktail.
Luckily, you'll find most of these ingredients in your pantry and fridge already, so there's nothing stopping you!
Raspberry-Honey Sweet Tea
What you'll need:
1 cup frozen raspberries
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup iced tea (1 black teabag + 3/4 cup water chilled)
50ml chosen bourbon
Mint and raspberries to garnish
- First step is to create a simple syrup by simmering your raspberries, honey, sugar, and 1/4 cup of water together in a pot. If you're looking for a super sweet cocktail, add more sugar to taste. Simmer until combined into a smooth thick syrup, insuring no chunks.
- In a shaker add 2 tablespoons of your simple syrup, your bourbon, and iced tea. Shake thoroughly.
- Pour into your chosen glass over ice and top with mint leave and raspberries to garnish. Enjoy!
