Welcome back dining out with a bang by spending your first night back at a restaurant under the stars. Botswana Butchery is offering you the opportunity of dining in an intimate igloo on their Harbourside Deck, right on the Auckland waterfront.
This isn't any old dining igloo that you may have seen in the last Alert Level 2, Botswana has taken it up a notch to create a dome of luxury for you to enjoy their fine dining experience in.
Each igloo is decked out in opulent furnishings from Matisse, ensuring you're well accommodated to in the comfort department.
Botswana Butchery has also created two specially designed degustation menus to delight your palette. Take your pick from The Meat Affair or The Banquet Affair.
The Meat Affair offers a meal of New Zealand's freshest produce in the form of Savannah grass-fed beef tartare, Raukumara Range's wild venison loin, braised wagyu brisket, and chocolate fondant with a cherry sorbet to finish.
While The Banquet Affair is for the seafood lovers, offering freshly shucked market oysters, aged Ruakaka farmed Kingfish sashimi, and a whole market fish for the table to graze on. To finish, you'll be treated to Petit Fours and a selection of New Zealand cheeses.
Both degustation menus are available with an optional wine match and Perrier-Jouët.
