Get your best stretchy Halloween costume on and head down to Catalina Bay this Saturday evening for a night of spooky treats and eats.
Although 2020 has given us nothing but a tough time, the year's redeeming factor may just be that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year – meaning there's no excuse to not get dressed up and head out for some seasonal fun.
The Food Truck Collective want to see your best outfit idea at their Halloween Food Truck Festival this October 31st, and in return, they'll be bringing a massive line-up of some of the best vendors in Auckland.
Expect to see gluten-free Italian superstars Amaranto, fresh dumplings from The Rolling Pin, Hungarian fried bread from Langos, sustainable stacked burgers from the Jo Bros, tapas from CoCo Loco, organic gelato and desserts from Lalele's, hot French crepes from Sweet As, and traditional hot German pretzels from Let's Bretzel – just to name a few.
Aside from the mounds of delicious fresh food, The Food Truck Collective will also be running competitions for best dressed, live music and entertainment, photo booths, and face painting for all ages.
You'll also have the chance to get some early Christmas shopping done with stalls inside the Catalina Bay Farmers Market open till late.
As if it couldn't get much better, all packaging on the night will be compostable, so pop it into any of the green bins dotted around the festival.
It's going to be a thrilling night of great food, festive treats, and supporting local on a breezy summer evening. The family-friendly event kicks off at 4:30pm at the Catalina Bay Farmers Market, 1/3 Boundary Road, Hobsonville.
