Burgers are universally enjoyed and a staple of food truck cuisine. Nothing quite beats ending the week biting down on a quality burger, so we say mark Friday 13th March in your calendar as Greenhithe is playing host to a "Burger-tastic Food Truck Night". Put on by Love Street Food NZ, the four hour event will take place at Greenhithe Village Hall kicking things off at 5pm. You'll be able to dig into wagyu beef burgers, chicken burgers, plant-based burgers, mini-burgers, even Filipino burgers. On the food truck lineup will be cult favourites Jo-Bros with their locally and sustainably-sourced classic burgers, Little Yellow Food Truck, Manilla Eats NZ, and Double Parked.
Joining them will be Ice Cream Social NZ for all your post-dinner ice cream (real-fruit and non-dairy options!), as well as the friendly folks at Deputy Donuts for those wanting a hand-crafter delight. Quench your thirst at Bohemian Cider who will be the liquor kings of the night, with craft beers, organic wines, and of course ciders to keep you hydrated during your burger feasting.
As one final exciting feature, the night will be sponsored by Barfoot & Thompson Greenhithe who will be donating $0.50 to the Starship Foundation for every meal bought (up to $500) on the night. So, gather up a crew and head along for a night of great food for a good cause.
