As the annual Fruhlingsfest (also known as Springfest) takes place in Munich, we feel a pang of heartache that we weren't able to celebrate any festivities in the European summer this year. However, that doesn't mean we have to miss out completely.
One of the praised new eateries in Westfield Newmarket's rooftop dining precinct is turning things around with their Springfest celebrations running until the end of Spring.
The Bavarian is your high-end local; quickly becoming a popular dining spot, it's grand, hearty, and a little bit fancier than the rest. When we think of The Bavarian we think of Jack Daniel's Hot Wings, Crackling Pork Belly, Giant Bratwurst, and a stein of Hofbrau Hefe Weizen to wash it all down.
To celebrate Fruhlingfest, The Bavarian has launched their special Springtime menu full of German classics that will have you itching for a European getaway.
Starting with the warm, looped pretzels fresh out the oven with a generous amount of butter, and the Roasted pumpkin, beetroot, and Goat's Cheese Salad.
As well as the golden-crumbed chicken schnitzel with a creamy mushroom sauce and thick-cut fries, and the haüs-made apple strudel with cinnamon, walnuts, raisins, and vanilla ice cream.
While all the Spring menu items are available on the normal menu, The Bavarian has also created their Spring Fest option for $69pp – which gives you the option to try all these dishes between the table, alongside a two-hour drinks package of New Zealand Beers & Ciders, and their latest range of cocktails on tap including Strawberry Margarita, Lychee Paradise, Appletini, and Elderflower Garden.
Enjoy a session of delicious German classics, accompanied by your choice of The Bavarian's quality range of drinks for a two-hour setting. The Spring Fest packages are available Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner at their Newmarket venue, with bookings essential!
