The carnivorous event is back for 2020, and better than ever!

The music and barbecue festival that brings meat-lovers from across the nation, together in one room, is back at ASB Showgrounds for the new year. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February 2020 will see two days of live music, demonstrations, barbecue expos, food trucks, live art, competitions, and rides all centred around a love for barbecuing and all things meat. Get amongst the grilling, accompanied by refreshments from Jack Daniels and Liberty Brewing too!

Headlining the event this time around will be Kiwi legends Katchafire, bringing good vibes with New Zealand reggae to Meatstock. On the BBQs will be special guests Big Moe Cason (USA), Mike Johnson (USA), and Paula Labaki (BRZ) sharing all their tips and tricks for the perfect pit session.

As well as live demos and plenty to see and do, the annual New Zealand Barbecue Wars will be returning with more than 50 teams from across the country battling it out for the crown. The New Zealand Butcher Wars will also be taking place, putting Meatstock’s favourite butchers head to head.

If you didn’t think it could get any better, the inaugural NZ Sausage Sizzle Showdown. Competing for $1,500 cash and a pool of prizes, experienced and amateurs barbecuers will show off their skills making the perfect snag.

There’ll be plenty to see, do, eat, try, and buy at Meatstock 2020. With tickets on sale now, and proving hot, grab yours now to secure your spot at the 2020 festival.
