Ahead of the impending complete lockdown in New Zealand, starting at 11:59pm Wednesday 25th March, restaurants are coming out of the woods with their generous offerings to not only get rid of stock that may otherwise go to waste but to also put a smile on Kiwi's faces in these scary times.

One of those friendly vendors is Ramen Takara, who have created lush ramen-kits for you to recreate their flavourful bowls at home! Using the last of their perishable stock, they'll be dishing out 200 "Kia Kaha Ramen Kits" to give out at their Ponsonby and Browns Bay stores from 1pm today.

Each containing homemade noodles, a soup base, a range of toppings, and instructions – Ramen Takara will be handing them out for free but ask simply that you pass on the goodwill and support your neighbours in return.

Head down to get your Ramen Takara fix one last time for the foreseeable future, and remember to practice your social distancing!

When: Tuesday 24th March, 1pm

Where: 4 Anzac Road, Browns Bay + 272 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby
