A brand new festival is making waves across the Auckland social scene at the moment, catching the eyes of curious beer-lovers and foodies throughout the city. Event planning mastermind, SkyCity, has announced the very first Auckland Craft Beer and Food Festival set to take place March 27th, 2021.
Taking over Auckland's Spark Arena, SkyCity will be turning the venue into New Zealand's largest urban beer garden for the day.
Brought to us by the team behind the iconic Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival, and led by brewing legends Behemoth Brewing Company and Emerson’s Brewery, the festival will bring together more than 50 breweries all together in one spot.
Spend the day perusing and trying some of the country's best craft beers, with the chance to partake in curated tasting room sessions and explore more deeply your favourite brews.
The line up includes big names such as Churly's, Morningcider, Garage Project, Citizen, Good George Brewing, Urbanaut, Deep Creek, Laughing Bones, and many more.
Naturally, there'll also be food onsite, but not just your average offering. Artisanal food vendors will be there on the day to serve up the best complementary bites to keep you energised all day.
Live music will be the soundtrack for the day, with an equally great line up including Zed, Anika Moa, Hello Sailor, Molly & The Chromatics, Nice'N'Urlich, and more to be announced.
The festival will run from 1pm to 8pm, with GA tickets giving you access to the entire day and a festival cup to try all your favourite beers. Tickets start at $45pp, with family passes and skip-the-queue passes available too. Grab your tickets and pencil March 27th in to your calendar!
This event is open to all ages, with drinks strictly for those R18, please drink responsibly.
