One of Auckland's favourite rooftop bars is shaking things up for the new year!
Federal Street's Glass Goose is known for their picturesque spot next to SkyCity, outdoor courtyard perfect for an after-work drink or impressive first date, and their phenomenal contemporary Kiwi cuisine. With iconic dishes such as their duck fat potato skins, Wagyu short rib, and Bloody Mary shot oysters, the menu is innovative and delicious. And, we could not be more excited at the announcement of new items being added to the menu this January. The Glass Goose's Executive Chef and hardworking kitchen team have been busy cooking up a storm to create five new dishes available now.
Added to the "Bites" section are their new Prawn Tacos and Grilled Market Fish. The former taking deep-fried wanton shell and filling it with prawn bites, salad, harissa mayo, and avocado puree. The latter using market fish bites and potato rosti to create a fresh summer classic.
To the "Mains" section of the menu, two classics are to be found – Duck Leg Confit and Pork Belly. The duck leg is served with potato dauphinoise and baby carrots and green beans. While the pork belly arrives on a butternut puree with confit shallots and pickled mustard.
Finally, a lighter side packed with flavour. Their seasonal vegetable melody makes for the perfect shared side dish to cut through the rich flavours of the mains.
