You may have seen an interesting delivery floating around your social media channels over the past few days. Or even seen your hopeless mate posting a story suspiciously whipping up a batch of restaurant-quality American hot dogs in their kitchen.
Well, we can confirm your suspicions of a helping hand with the introduction of Good Dog Bad Dog's Hot Dog Kit.
Originally set up by the masterminds behind Newmarket's The Candy Shop and Parnell's Simon & Lee, Good Dog Bad Dog is a pop-up-turned-permanent store creating someone of the most exciting hot dogs in the game. Set to officially open up in downtown's Commercial Bay, unfortunate timing meant things have been put on hold for an official launch date, but that hasn't stopped the GDBD team.
Along came the idea of Hot Dog Kits for isolation. Pre-packaged boxes with every ingredient measured perfectly to recreate their hot dogs for $50.
Previously producing flavours such as their corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut creation and their plant-based dogs with truffle béchamel sauce, GDBD took their most iconic flavour for the creation of their Hot Dog Kits – The Chilli Cheese Dog.
Each box arrives (via your choice of contactless delivery for nearby suburbs or pick-up from The Candy Shop Newmarket) with everything GDBD uses to create their legendary Chilli Cheese Dogs – no cooking required. Follow the super-easy instructions putting together GDBD's signature chilli mince, cheese sauce, frankfurters, long buns, and coleslaw, with enough to make five chilli dogs.
Satisfying our hot dog cravings for the meantime, GDBD's kits will keep you going until their official launch of the Commercial Bay Eatery for dogs around clock.
