Auckland's Hot Sauce Festival Returns
The hottest festival of the year returns for 2021 and we're already sweating in anticipation. NZ's Sixth Annual Hot Sauce Festival is taking place on Saturday 29th May at the idyllic Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen, in full view of Auckland City. The festival combines finding the hottest hot sauce, the best homemade entry, a chilli-eating competition, live music, and brews from Sweat Shops onsite brewery.
Tickets are on sale now, which gives you entry and the opportunity to taste-test your way around 100 local and international hot sauces for just $10.

Whittaker's Brings Out Two Exciting Flavours With Plunket
It's always an exciting day when Whittaker's comes out with new flavours. Sitting on the shelves from next Monday for a limited amount of time will be two new deliciously exciting flavours. Both classic dessert favourites, we already know these are good as Whittaker's never misses. Look out for the creamy Carrot Cake with 28% cocoa white chocolate, apricot, and pecan pieces, and Strawberry and Waffles with 28% cocoa white chocolate. 20 cents from each block sold will go directly to Plunket, meaning you can have your (carrot) cake and eat it too with your good deed done for the day.
The 100gram blocks are on supermarket shelves from Monday 19th April, and if history has taught us anything – it's that these will be flying out the door so get in early!
