A local Auckland cakery has launched a new initiative to sell cake-kits while raising awareness of our mental health crisis in New Zealand. St Helier's Floss Cakery has set up their Are You O'caKe cake-kits with a mission to help as many New Zealander's as possible improve their mental health and get the conversation started with their loved ones. The kits come with everything you need to recreate Floss Cakery's original Chocolate Cake, with the idea of baking and decorating the cake with your loved ones while bringing up topics of mental health; the perfect non-confrontational way to get the conversation started.

A portion of each cake sale will go to the Voices Of Hope charity who aim to create and implement change around mental health, coming from those who have experienced it themselves. You can order your own Are You O'caKe Cake Kits here, and follow Floss Cakery on Instagram for any and all updates!
