NZ-Made Green Tea Wine Is A World First

Loveblock is the first wine worldwide to use green tea in place of sulphites.

The award-winning Kiwi winery LoveBlock has made history with their latest collection. The Loveblock TEE Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019 contains no added sulphur, swapping it out for green tea as a natural antioxidant in place of added preservatives. Using grapes grown on Loveblock's certified organic Awatere Valley vineyard, the TEE Marlborough is vegan-friendly and certified organic, resulting in a wine that stays perfect over time, just with less nasties. Tasting notes include juicy white peach and citrus, with a crisp, lingering minerality on the finish. You can pick up a bottle at your local Glengarry, select Auckland New Worlds, and fine wine stores now.

The WooZoo Group Opens Their Newest Cafe

Previously bringing us the delectable Fields Cafe, Percy, and Spectra in Commercial Bay, the WooZoo Hospitality Group has opened their fourth addition to the towering cafe ring with Filly Cafe. Opening in The Terrace at Sylvia Park, you can expect the same great food, service, design, and ambience as the other three beloved eateries. WooZoo works hard to bring a high level of sophistication, relaxation, and quality in all aspects to their cafes. Filly has taken Sylvia Park's rich history of farmland and conveyed it in an abstract form, resulting in a dream aesthetic and a well-rounded menu to match. Pop in and pay them a visit, with WooZoo's history we can already tell it's going to be popular.
