Macca's Chicken Range Is Here
A classic McChicken on a night out is a thing of beauty. So when we heard Macca's is extending their chicken range, our joy was immeasurable. The NZ McDonald's new chicken range uses 100% New Zealand chicken, coated in their signature crispy coating. Heat things up with a spicy coated chicken thigh fillet in the form of the McSpicy, or keep it classic with the Chicken Almighty Burger with two patties, salad, BBQ sauce, and creamy mayo. You'll want to get your hands on the new Chicken McPieces, turning the classic chicken nugget into an ultra-crunchy, supersized piece of chicken. Lastly, it's no secret Kiwis love their chicken salt. Grab a packet of chicken salt shaker fries to take your Macca's chips to the next level.
The new chicken range is available in-stores and online for a limited time only, nationwide!

Hello Beasty Wins Big At The Hospo Oscars
One of our favourite spots on the Viaduct, Hello Beasty, has won big in the latest local Hospo Awards, the Lewisham Awards. The Asian fusion eatery has taken home the award for Outstanding Establishment, something we couldn't agree with more. Owner and Chef, Stu Rogan, brings his extensive experience to the Viaduct restaurant, serving up new and exciting dishes from himself and Chef Giann Ordonio. Cult favourites over the past year have included their Prawn & Crab Toast with Wagyu eye-fillet, their Kimchi bindaetteokand with BBQ pork loin, and their fresh kkwabaegi Korean twisted doughnuts which carried us through most of lockdown Level 3. The elegant and contemporary dining space lights up the eatery in a neon glow, leaving the twinkling waterfront lights to hold their glow. The overall atmosphere and quality of service and food is constantly impressive, and now they can say they've got the papers to prove it! Book your table at Hello Beasty below to try it for yourself.
