Bluff Oyster season is taking the Auckland dining scene by storm. Shucking oysters left, right, and centre – Auckland eateries have heard your calls for fresh oysters, and they have listened.
But, as oysters are one of the country's favourite delicacies, it only makes sense they come with a somewhat hefty price tag. This month, one restaurant is giving you the chance to devour some of the delicious seafood without breaking the bank.
The Culpeper on Princes Wharf wants you to join them on Saturday 28th March for their Oyster & Music Festival. Think good beats from live DJs, a delicious lunch, and 200 free oysters. Yes, 200! As well as a live oyster shucking competition to show off your seafood skills and compete for the title.
Setting the perfect scene sitting waterfront, The Culpeper invites you and your favourite gang of friends and family to head in from midday to get your hands on their first in, first served complimentary oysters before soaking up the afternoon sun with an ice-cold beer and sweet wine.
When: Saturday 28th March, 12pm - late
Where: The Culpeper, Princes Wharf, Auckland CBD
