Food Truck Fridays Are Back

Friday 26th September

The Food Truck Collective is launching into summer with the return of their Food Truck Fridays at lunchtime in Takutai Square, Britomart. This week's line-up includes sweet treats from Captain Crepes, traditional Japanese from Miso Ra, and wood-fired BBQ from CheLucio BBQ, as well as DJ Alice Rose live for some good vibes. Round up the work crew and head down from 11am Friday.

Hash N Smash Pop Up

Friday 25th September

Book an Uber straight to Cheese On Toast in Three Kings after work on Friday and get in on Hash n Smash's latest pop up. They'll be serving up their mouthwatering smash burgers and loaded hash browns – a match made in heaven? Yes. New to the food scene, Hash n Smash have already made a big name for themselves, so make sure you get there early so you don't miss out. Doors open at 6pm.

Crowlers For Canines In Kingsland

Saturday 26th September

Crowlers For Canines has officially been rescheduled, which means you can finally get your dose of puppies this Saturday at Garage Project Kingsland. Head along from midday and buy a beer to support the SPCA – with all profits from any beer or flight sold from Garage Project's two charity kegs, going straight to the SPCA. You're also absolutely encouraged to bring your dogs down to hang out for the day, or to get in amongst the puppy fun if you're dog-less!

2 For 1 Best Ugly Bagels

Saturday 26th September

Purchase any bagel from Best Ugly Bagel's Commercial Bay store this Saturday and you'll receive another bagel completely free. The offer lasting all day from 8am till 4pm and only at their Commercial Bay store, you'll want to bring along a bagel-loving friend. There's not much to it than that. Enjoy!

Korean Thanksgiving At Gochu

Sunday 27th September

Celebrate Chuseok, a major harvest festival, at Gochu in Commercial Bay this Sunday. As a tradition, after the Autumn harvest a big feast is observed with family and friends, which is exactly what Gochu has set up with their set menu from Chef Jason Kim. For $45 pp, dine on clam soup, braised deckle, leek and black pudding hotdogs, mushroom japchae, and other sweets & treats throughout the night. Of course there'll also be Korean rice wine, Gochu's cocktails, and natural wine on offer too. Bookings are essential, which you can do right here.

NZ Sign Language Week At Garage Project

Sunday 27th September

Join Garage Project as they launch their 'Talk To The Hand' beer as a part of New Zealand Sign Language Week. Brewed to celebrate NZSL Week 2020 in partnership with Deaf Aotearoa, head along to their Kingsland store on Sunday from 12pm to try their unfiltered new beer and learn a few handy phrases in Sign language from the team. There's no better time to start learning than now!
