Greenhithe's Burger Night
The long-awaited Burger Food Truck Night is finally here, taking place at Greenhithe Village Hall from 5pm. On the lineup is the sustainably-conscious Jo-Bros, Manilla Eats NZ, Little Yellow Food Truck, and Double Parked. So if it's a chicken burger, beef burger, vegan burger, or even a Filipino twist on a burger you're craving, Greenhithe is the place to be tonight!
Mount Eden's Pop Up Irish Bar
Mount Eden's favourite pop up is back for 2020, with Irish specials all weekend long leading up to St. Patrick's Day. Setting up shop on De Post Belgian Beer Cafe's deck, De Paddy O'Bar will have Guinness on tap and $8 pints all weekend long. There'll also be Irish food specials to keep an eye out for and plenty of live music to get you in the Irish mood. Pop down from 1pm any day leading up to St. Paddy's to join in on the fun.
World On The Street
Silo pPrk will be transformed into a market of international cuisines this Saturday with World On The Street: East & South East Asia edition. Head down from midday to experience authentic foods from India and Japan all the way down to Malaysia and Thailand. With a live DJ, speciality cocktails at the bar, and free entry, not much could keep us away.
Bottomless Irish Brunch
Get into the St. Paddy's Day spirit early with Malt Public House's bottomless Irish brunch this Sunday. All-you-can-drink Guinness and all-you-can-eat bacon butties are on offer, with an afternoon of live music to take you through to the evening. Book your spot ASAP as tables won't last long for one of the most excitable events of the weekend.
Proper IPA Launch Party
Head along to Garage Project Kingsland this Sunday for the launch of their brand new Proper IPA, in collaboration with Proper Crisps. Inspired by the humble potato's Proper Crisps uses for their delicious range of chips, Garage Project has created a new hops out of Proper's own Nelson-grown potatoes. Head down from 11am to try the new concoction, as well as plenty of chip and dip combos to match!
Maraetai's Seafood Festival
Take a Sunday drive to the friendliest town in Auckland. Maraetai's annual Seafood Festival kicks off at 1pm, right by the water, hosted by the Maraetai Boat Club. For only $25 you'll receive a glass of bubbles or beer and your very own seafood tasting platter fresh from the sea. There'll also be an oyster shucking station, live music, and full menu for a full size serving of your pick of the bunch. Tickets are available now!
