Epic Beers and Hot Rolls

Friday 24th January

Head over to Epic HQ in Onehunga this Friday for a Friday Beers and Pork Belly session. From 4pm onwards, sip on Epic’s hoppy beers from the cellar as they sling hot chargrilled pork belly rolls. Pets are welcome and entry is free, so get to it!

Hoegaarden Pop-Up In Mt Eden

Friday 24th - Monday 27th January

For one weekend only, De Post Belgian Beer Cafe will be transforming into a pop-up beer garden from Friday til Monday. The Mount Eden bar will have live jazz on the sunny deck, with special deals on food, drinks, and Hoegaarden. We heard there may even be $5 Waffles on offer.

Hare Krishna Food Festival

Saturday 25th January

Head out west to Kumeu to try something a little different. The Hare Krishna Food Festival is being held, welcoming everyone and anyone wanting to attend. All food will be vegetarian and vegan friendly, with plenty to see, do, and eat at the family-friendly event.

New Zealand's Largest Brazilian Festival

Saturday 25th January

Engage in some cultural appreciation this Saturday with a visit to the Brazilian Day Festival at Rocket Park. The day will be filled to the brim with lively music and entertainers, workshops, activities, and of course a plethora of delicious Brazilian cuisine.

Ice Cream Sundae

Sunday 26th January

The annual Ice Cream Sundae Festival will be in full-force this Sunday at Wynyard Quarter’s Silo Park. With more than 30 different vendors scooping from 12pm - 5pm, there will be plenty to taste and test. Entry is free, there will be a bar, themed games, and live entertainment, how could you say no?

Rose All Day

Sunday 26th January

Sure, we’ve all said “Rose All Day” but now it’s time to take it into full effect. This Sunday at Culprit, Cult Wine is hosting a rose soiree with 30 New Zealand and international wines on offer, as well as live music and food from Forest Restaurant. Secure a ticket now to drink your Sunday away.

A Plant Based Cooking Workshop

Put your cooking skills to the test, or opt for learning a few more vegan recipes with plant-based chef, Tracey Bennett. Hosting an interactive cooking workshop this Sunday in Tracey’s very own kitchen. You’ll get to eat everything you make, as well as taking home an epic plant-based goodie bag too.

St. Jerome's Laneway Festival

Monday 27th January

St Jerome’s Laneway will be back for Auckland Anniversary with a stellar line-up including The 1975, Charli XCX, Ruel, and Earl Sweatshirt headlining. Sweeten the deal with their equally stellar line-up of food truck vendors, full of plant-based goodness, craft beers, and hearty line-your-stomach treats.
