This upcoming Monday not only marks another sunny public holiday for New Zealanders, but the biggest sports day of the year. The 55th annual Super Bowl is happening on Monday 8th February, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going up against the Kansas City Chiefs.
While the excitement is all apart of the fun, any seasoned football fan knows you can't watch the Super Bowl without all the glorious Super Bowl snacks.
Must-haves include a good American beer (Budweiser is the obvious choice), a generous serving of your favourite dip with nacho chips, devilled eggs, and of course chicken wings. In fact, Wings may just be the real star of the show on Super Bowl Monday and we know where to get them for free!
Join restaurant-group, Joylab, in the Super Bowl fun on Monday and you'll be treated to rounds of free chicken wings until the first point of the game is scored. Each group who has bought drinks will receive a bowl of 12 wings from kick-off, which will be replenished once the bowl is finished, bottomless until the first point is scored.
Free wings 'til the first points will be taking place at five Auckland venues; The Elephant Wrestler in Takapuna, Garrison Public House in Sylvia Park, The Zookeepers Son in Royal Oak, The Postman's Leg in Glenfield, and Coops Corner Pub in the Viaduct. All bars will be also be stocked with everything you need to make your Super Bowl experience as authentically-American as possible.
